  Because they freeze stuck from the condensed frost unless you defrost your fridge once a week. Defrosting your fridge suuuuucks.

  @qwqwqwqw My freezer has a few sliding shelves. They don't freeze stuck. Do modern refrigerators get frost? It's been 20 years since I've had one like that.
